I am torn about rating this book because I like the idea and the author, but I did not really enjoy this story. The writing style was hard for me to get into and I kept waiting for the story to pick up its pace and the action to start going but it never truly did. Plus the conclusion of the mystery to me was lackluster. And two military trained people were surprised by this person? Really?!... I just don't believe it. I liked Gabe and his teddy bear persona but often felt that Sky was portrayed too bitchy and unnecessarily hard. This also sometimes left me having empathy towards Gabe but feeling he was slightly emasculated in instances. I'd say skip it because it has been done before and better.

Book 2 of 3: DreamMakers

I loved this book. It was a smokin' hot & erotic read that still managed to be fun and surprising. Jack & Pepper have the kind of chemistry that is second to none and it only gets hotter when they finally hit the sheets.

 
Even though this is Jack & Pepper's story it gives you a glimpse into Parker & Lynn's ongoing relationship from book 1 and teases you with the promise of book 3 and Dean's story. I can't wait to read the next one because if "Don't Walk Away" is anything like the first 2 Dream Makers books its bound to be hot as hell and full of surprises.

"How to Kill Your Boss" surprised me. As soon as I read the synopsis I knew I had to read it. It sounded like my kind of book and it most definitely was.

Tatum dreams about killing her boss on a daily basis and she enjoys it. Until the day that he is murdered and all the evidence starts pointing at her.

Franklin is Tatum's mysterious co-worker with a bevy of dark secrets and things he can't and won't talk about. But one thing he makes abundantly clear is that he wants Tatum. Together they go on the hunt for a deranged stalker and the person responsible for framing Tatum for murder.

I liked this book a lot. It balanced all the romance, suspense and mystery aspects extremely well. I loved the characters. Franklin and Tatum were a perfect match and the repartee between them was sassy, sexy and interesting all at the same time.


There was only one thing that I felt was awkward. When I found out what Franklin's secret or obsession (if you will) was I thought it was a little creepy. But Krissy Daniels created such a great character that I still couldn't help but love him. I recommend this book to readers of the romance, mystery or erotica genres.
