I try to read everything with an open mind but this "trilogy" just made me angry. First off its not complete, as there are more books/stories to this series. Secondly I couldn't get over the characters. There was a lot of potential in this story but the lack of believability and redeeming qualities actually pushed me towards hating both the main characters and those around them.

I'm no shrinking violet when it comes to reading books that others label raunchy, taboo or just plain weird. But while I don't judge or begrudge another's taste in books I profess my likes and dislikes honestly. So honestly this "trilogy" pissed me off. It was as I mentioned earlier the characters. (I know there is more to the story but this is based solely on this "trilogy.")

I can understand everyone's sexual taste vary but the fact that Claire let's Blake do this stuff to her without any amount of reserve or fear annoys me. He is a bit of an ass who (albeit mutually) gets his rocks off by humiliating the hell out of Claire. The first story wasn't bad but the second didn't offer any growth on the characters or their relationship. The "smut" was there but it left me feeling dirty... And not in a good way.

It would have been easier to stomach and possibly more like-able if there would have been something redeemable in this bundle about Blake.

In the third part there is a bit about Claire and Blake's back story but its pretty much to little to late to keep me from questioning Claire's sanity. How is one supposed to suspend reality on not only Blake using a working jail as his place of choice for a trumped up blackmail tinged threesome and using the town square to further humiliate Claire with forty lashings and an impromptu audience for getting their rocks off.

Maybe I have become spoiled by other authors.... but when most give you a situation like this there is something there to keep the characters grounded and like-able. These characters had a past but there was no chemistry between them, no vibe of caring or trust.... I was begging for there to be SOMETHING to give the impression or hint at the fact that Blake cared for her or wasn't just a random sleaze ball.

It's entirely possible that I may have had a different opinion if I had not been lead to believe this was complete. I may have enjoyed it better with the conclusion. Either way I don't recommend reading this series unless you are looking for some strong humiliation erotica. And if so make sure you get the full six part series and not this bundle.

**After re-reading my review I feel the need to restate that I know everyone likes different things and its quite possible some might call me a hypocrite because I enjoy other non-mainstream taboo genres. But I'm not. I do not dislike this genre as a whole. There are plenty of author authors/stories that have covered a similar plots that I have enjoyed. Its my opinion and personal preference that leads me to state the above thoughts.

Pulled Over But Not Pulling Out: Part I- Claire is sick of being treated like a princess by her boyfriend - the same, tired, boring romantic routine week in, week out. When her plea for something a bit rougher falls on deaf ears, she jumps at the opportunity to strike across the country for something new. Speeding in a borrowed car, she gets pulled over by a cop who won't show her the same daintiness as her boyfriend...and instead, give her all the filthy, rough passion that she has been secretly desiring for years.
Lockdown: Part II - A new job, a new life, Claire has everything she wants out of life - but she can't help thinking about that one fateful night she was roughly ravished by an officer of the law - who also happened to be her old high school sweetheart. When her job calls her back to that officer's jurisdiction, she finds herself in handcuffs again, thrown in a cell, and facing punishment. At the prospect of being used by two dirty cops, she struggles with the fact that she should hate everything they're doing to her, but is instead yearning for every touch and violation they can bring, begging for more as her old beau still refuses to pull out.
Punishment: Part III Claire still can't believe it... two nights of rough pleasure and creamy endings with Blake Masterson, her old high school sweet heart and officer of the Harristown PD, have left her pregnant with his child. She realizes she has to confess her feelings to him... and hopes that he too will confess that the love from senior year never truly died. But what she gets instead is an apparently vengeful man, who is out to punish her for her crimes against him... when she finds herself being stripped and prepared for a vicious whipping that the whole town will get to watch.
Interrogation: Part IV  Claire's love life in the past year has been far from typical. She has reconnected, for lack of a better term, with her high school sweetheart Police Officer Blake Masterson, and their encounters have left her in love and with child. Blake doesn't seem to play favorites though, and Claire finds herself once again accused of a bogus crime. This time, she faces interrogation from him, and many others of New York's finest. With Blake's filthy guidance, she finds their methods rough, messy, and incredibly satisfying. Claire wonders if her relationship with Blake will ever be more than sex. If that's all she'll ever get from him, though, she'll gladly take it.
Warrant: Part V  Claire was Blake's high school sweetheart - and Blake thought it would be for a life time. Years after she abandoned him at the prom, their romance was rekindled with rough passion over the side of a cop car. In spite of the rebirth of their lusts, Blake is troubled. He can't easily conquer the pain in his heart - the pain that Claire is responsible for. In the dead of night, he enters Claire's home and seeks to wake her up with a very few sweet surprises - and his continuing his goal to make her swell with his child.
Verdict: Part VI  After almost two years of being taken by him, Blake wants to make his ownership of Claire official. Claire couldn't be happier, wanting to have the only man who can truly satisfy her. Her friends, though, question her. The way Blake shows his love certainly leaves a mark. Claire is forced to ask herself the question if her love to Blake is true despite the roughness. Is all the reckless, unprotected and messy lust he shows her worth it?
