Lisa Renee Jones managed to spin an intricate web of romance and mystery that left me unable to put the book down. Before I knew it I was devouring the tasty tidbits of the secondary characters as well as falling in love with "Hot Secrets" main character's, Royce & Lauren. I'm very impressed with Ms Jones story telling. In the typical romance novel the main characters are always so predictable, with the male playing the arrogant alpha who on occasion puts the female down or insults her. And the female who constantly agonizes over her love for a man that she must change. But not in this case. Ms Jones breaks that stereotypical mold by giving us Royce, a man who is with out a doubt an alpha male but one who is never the jerk who has to be reformed. And Lauren a woman who is an educated & feisty woman who literally puts her life on the line for justice. Couple these two exciting characters with the gripping story plot and compelling secondary characters and you have yourself a definite must read novel.
