Not only was this book one of my first Ellora’s Cave novels it was also one of my very first Jaid Black books. The first time I read “Vanished” I was a teenager and green as could be, after-all back then I had never heard of erotica. And while I certainly have come up in the ranks of Erotic Romance knowledge this book remains one of my favorites to this day. Jaid Black does an amazing job, pulling you deep into this erotic and to somewhat taboo world. She made me fall in love with the characters. Even though one of them is “allegedly” a cold-blooded murderer and the sex scenes….all I can really say is WOW! Writing erotica seems to be something that Jaid Black does best. I have read plenty of her books and have yet-to find one that I haven’t enjoyed.
Appalachian mountains toward her new life. She's made grand plans to start fresh after her divorce, including settling into a new town. An overturned semi on the West Virginia turnpike forces Lynne to use a temporary detour through a remote rural area high up in the mountains... A detour from which she will vanish without a trace.
