Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Purchase Links: Amazon Barnes & Noble

I was worried that "Accidentally Married on Purpose" would disappoint me, but it never did. Rachel Harris weaved a beautiful & romantic story that had me smiling like crazy until the very end.

Readers of the romance genre know that sometimes these stories tend to take on an unrealistic and sometimes obviously formulated approach to love. The author of "Accidentally Married on Purpose" follows this pattern in some ways, taking the best aspects of the Romance Novel Formula and putting her own unique spin on it by poking fun at the genre as well.

This is my first time reading a Rachel Harris' novel and I am thoroughly impressed. Her character's were easy to fall in love with and her writing style bloomed effortlessly. I both love and appreciate the fact that Tyler wasn't portrayed as the typical ass-hat/ reluctant husband and that Sherry was a feisty and quirky woman.

** Something else that I love about this book is while it is most definitely a romance novel/ love story it is not driven by sex scenes. The characters and story plot are the driving forces in this story.

Official Synopsis: One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what’s happened in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.
