Book one (A Vampire's Promise) in this series was missing something & honestly left me feeling disappointed & slightly annoyed. But "A Vampire's Soul" definitely makes up for it.
"A Vampire's Soul" answered most of the questions that plagued me through out the first book in addition to making me want more from secondary characters, Aleksei & Anasztaizia. Even though the book suffered a few moments of "information overload", the story still maintained its pace & provided a conclusion that will leave readers satisfied with the relationship between Rowan & Gabriel but still keeps open the possibility for a 3rd book for these characters.
